climbing guidebook Vltavská žula
Climbing on the large granite bar on the banks of the Slapy reservoir, between the towns of Pribram and Sedlcany, offers a lot to make a climber's heart beat faster. From difficult and well-secured routes to easy trad routes, everything is available in the form of roofs, slabs or steep walls with many vertical and horizontal cracks. Most of the sectors are south-facing, but some are also in the forest. You will always find your place and climbing outside of winter is always possible. The approaches are not always easy, but are well secured.
The area is about 50 km from Prague and you can climb on both sides of the Vltava.
The very good climbing guide shows all this and you even get general information about the area and the approach in three languages (Czech, German, English). The topos are of a graphic nature and comparable to those of Panico. Of course, there are also lots of great photos.
There is a QR code to the parking lot for each area so that you are guaranteed to find it.
A great climbing destination in the Czech Republic!
