VERONA ROCK climbing gardens was born from the climbing guide MONTE BALDO Rock. Imbued with the desire to accomplish what the previous authors had tried in vain, Giovanni Avesani, Massimo Bursi, Fabio De Marchi, Claudio Migliorini, Diego Perotti, Giuseppe Vidali and Nicola Zorzi benefited from the energetic idealistic support of many active developers and climbers. Thanks to these synergies, a comprehensive guide to the sport climbing opportunities in the Verona region has finally been realized.
VERONA ROCK climbing is therefore not only a complete and clear description of all the most famous sites such as the historic Ceredo and Sengio Rosso, but also important new areas that were less known or exclusively climbed by local climbers. Very suggestive nature such as the Adige Gorge or the Lessini Mountains next to the Small Dolomites frame a great variety of walls, ranging from sloping slabs to strong overhangs.
The best time for climbing is undoubtedly the mid-season, but the abundance of walls with favorable exposures allows climbing all year round.
