In this third edition, which is dedicated exclusively to sport climbing, the author of the previous edition, Davide Mazzucchelli, was assisted by Matteo Della Bordella. He is a great connoisseur of the Swiss mountains and author of the book "Climbing in Switzerland", which presents hundreds of multi-pitch routes in the central cantons. The guide, expanded and brought up to date, presents a large selection of climbing crags in Ticino, a region that offers fantastic climbing, not only because of the quality of the routes and crags, but also because of the mild climate, which also attracts climbers from nearby areas in the north of the Alps.
A detailed chapter on the climbing crags in the province of Varese completes the guide, in which you can also find stories about the history of climbing and information on the most important personalities in the area.
