The Arve Valley is located in the Haute-Savoie department and is therefore a French mountain region. The town of Bonneville, halfway between Chamonix and Genève, lies at the center of this climbing region. A total of 51 climbing locations spread over 5 areas are presented and described in this excellent guide. Precise route descriptions, topos, approach sketches and pictograms, which really leave no questions unanswered, make the guide easy to use even without any knowledge of French. At the front of the book, all the pictograms used are presented and immediately used to provide an overview of all 51 areas. This allows you to quickly recognize which area corresponds to your own wishes and abilities or not!
