“Switzerland Plaisir EAST” has something for (practically) everyone and something for every season. The crags above Gersau and at Haldenstein are very worthwhile visits in winter and spring. In summer and fall, the higher up almost alpine areas reach their peak climbing season. Long known and popular are the routes on the Susten, Furka, and Klausen Passes. Newly included here are the fantastic routes on Lunghin Lake and the multi-pitch crags above the Lindauer Hut. “Känzele” in Bregenz and the Plaisir areas of Oetz Valley are new areas included here. “Känzele” is easily reached from Eastern Switzerland and has a good selection of conglomerate climbs to choose from. Predestined for the makings of a perfect family vacation in the Oetz Valley: Well protected routes, bomber rock quality, nice flat landings at the base of the routes. You can always find a nice cool place to climb here during the summer months.
