This climbing guidebook describes the areas of the Massif de l' Esterel, near St. Raphael on the Cote d'Azur. Of the 15 areas described, 11 are in the Gorges du Blavet. The remaining 4 are located immediately east of Saint Raphael. Gorges du Blavet includes la Face Sud, la Petit Canyon, la Rive Gauche, la Rive Droite, la Barrique, l'Eglise des Paiens, la Capelle amont, la Capelle Cascade, la Capelle aval, la Lieutenante and Colle Rousse. East of St.Raphael are the areas of la Barre du Roussivau, le Pic du Perthus, le Rocher des Monges and le Cap Dramont.
All topos are illustrated in colour photos. The approaches are described in French and English and are also shown on small maps. Each route described contains information on length, difficulty, number and type of belays.
The individual sectors are also shown in colour photos, with additional sketches (parking possibilities incl. GPS coordinates, access and approaches) and information such as the orientation of the wall, difficulty overview, required rope length and approach time.
All tours are listed in the last section of the guide.
