Margalef in a new format. In the meantime, 1831 routes in 95 sectors have been developed there. In the new 2024 edition, you will find 467 routes between 4 - 6b+, 735 routes between 6c - 7b+, 486 routes between 7c - 8b+, 95 routes in the 8c - up sector and 48 projects. All sorts, and something for everyone!
Margalef offers mainly single pitches (80% approx. 20m) on well-secured routes. You can climb here all year round.
The new guidebook by Vincent Palau and Maya Ayupova summarizes the current situation on site in a comprehensive, clear and appealing way.
The sectors (GPS coordinates) are each described in great detail at the beginning - information on parking facilities (GPS coordinates), approach time, wall gradient, family-friendliness, orientation, sunshine / shade according to time of day, list of the number of routes by grade, ...
The individual routes are presented in detail with the following information: Name, grade, length, number of belays, equipment.
The topos are laid over good color photographs and are easy to read.
