With the Kiipeilyreitit Lounais-Suomi the 2nd volume of this Finland series comes on the market (part 3 with areas from Lahti to Jyväskylä is announced for 2021). The guide focuses on the southwest of the country. Presented are 26 tranquil areas with more than 500 routes. The areas are distributed mainly around the two cities of Turku and Salo. The climbing guide is written entirely in Finnish, but very good pictograms, color photo topos, site plans, as well as information on how to get there by public transport (+ walking / cycling) and GPS data of the crag, help to get along with the guide guaranteed without knowledge of Finnish. In a tabular overview, you can get all the information about each area in a nutshell, including pictograms on orientation, wall slope, wall height, child hostility, type of protection and star rating. The guide contains mainly short sport climbing routes, but also some routes to belay yourself.
