In addition to the Freyr climbing area, which is known beyond the country's borders, there are of course other climbing spots in Belgium that are well worth a visit. Two of them are located near Namur (Beez and Rochers du Néviau), in the region and province of the same name in Wallonia in the heart of the country. Beez is a well-known climbing area in Belgium. It is located on an elongated rock massif that stretches along the Meuse to the east of Namur. Beez is popular with climbers due to its sporty routes with good holds and moderate levels of difficulty. There are around 200 routes in the area, ranging in difficulty from 3 to 7b. Thanks to its south-easterly orientation, the rock warms up quickly in the morning, making it an inviting place for climbers.
