climbing guidebook Briancon Climbs
Climbing in Haut Val Durance and Queyras
Fantastic climbing areas, located a little higher (between 800 and 2500 m above sea level) and therefore well suited for the hot days, in the valley "Val Durance". These areas are located on the French-Italian border around the towns of Briancon, L'Argentière and Guillestre. Different types of rocks are waiting here for the climber in a small area. Single pitches, multi-pitches, horizontal to overhanging walls and the different exposures of the sectors do not stand for monotony, but for pure variety!
The climbing guide is clearly structured, has very good location sketches, color photo topos and expressive pictograms, which really bring all the information to the point.
