Gilles Brunot now published the second part of his climbing guide Bornes Aravis. The areas are located south of those of the first part. Described are 375 routes with a total of 890 pitches. They are distributed in the following areas: la Cluzas, Thônes, Ugine and Col de Aravis. The guide includes short sport climbing routes and many multi-pitch routes. All necessary information is presented by means of pictograms - star rating of the routes, route length, wall slope, required material, sea level of the area, access time, orientation, rain, child-friendliness, GPS data parking possibilities. The long routes are described in more detail, partly in their individual pitches. Unfortunately, only in French. The book is preceded by an extensive glossary, which translates all key words used in the text into German, English and Italian. The topos are very legible superimposed over partly full-page color photographs.
