The book Alpine Klettertouren closes the gap between plaisir multi-pitch climbs and alpine tours. It presents 81 alpine climbing tours in Switzerland and the near border region
in the lower and middle degree of difficulty. Volume 1 covers the regions of Jura, Chablais, Fribourg/Vaud and Lower Valais.
It contains tours from the practice ridge in the foothills of the Alps or in the Jura to the long ridge traverse in the Alps. In addition to classics, we also have little-known tour destinations or routes, which have fallen into oblivion. Many of the tours can be undertaken as a day tour directly from the valley.
As a rule, crampons or ice axes can be dispensed with. The climbs in limestone, granite or gneiss can usually be experienced with light equipment and in mountain boots or approach shoes.
The range of protection extends from drilled routes to those that must be secured mostly by yourself.
