Alt Urgell - Sport Climbing

Located in the northern part of Catalonia, Alt Urgell borders the high mountain region of the Pyrenees. On the border with Andorra, the mountains reach heights of over 2000m.
However, the areas described in the climbing guide are all sport climbs in the best sense of the word. Climbing in the areas is almost without exception in the best limestone, the routes are usually single pitches, only rarely is there a second length. The 6. franz. Grade should be mastered in this area, otherwise the choice is limited to relatively few routes.
